Work with me in 2018 and I’ll help you create a PR system for your business that will ensure you have a constant stream of new leads and clients – one you can stick on autopilot, leaving you time to get on with doing the things you do best in your business.
You’ll need to commit a few hours a week to getting your website, social media and online marketing in order and you’ll need to be prepared to take daily actions to work towards your goals. But I’ll be there to guide you, holding your hand as little or as much as you need me to.
You’ll also get the support of a group of creative women who are committed to doing work they love.
No more scouring the web for that Mailchimp video, leadpages tutorial or wondering about the best opt-in boxes. There are cheat sheets, checklists, video tutorials and bite-sized chunks of learning to help you navigate your way through the online noise.
When you join the Studio, you’ll be invited to take a quiz. This will help you decide which area you need to focus on first: content, email, social or press.
You’ll then be guided through the studio library (which includes video tutorials, worksheets, audio and live classes) at a pace that makes sense for your business and feels comfortable for you. You’ll also get direct access – both on our weekly online coaching calls and in our private Facebook group.
1. Content:Publishing regular content on your website e.g. blog, vlog or podcast (and why you need to), generating content ideas, getting people to share your content and turning website visitors into customers/clients.
2. Email: Getting people onto your email list (and keeping them there), writing compelling marketing emails that don’t feel pushy/selly, creating email opt-ins/lead magnets and automating your email marketing – so you can make sales while you sleep.
3. Social: Deciding which platforms to focus on, what kind of content to create (including video), how to get more engagement with your content and social media scheduling and automation.
4. Press: Getting regular/mentions in the newspapers/magazines (including how to pitch ideas to journalists), how to get journalists to come to you for comment (rather than pitching them all the time) and how to do radio/TV interviews (if you want to).

Join as an annual member and you’ll get a 30 minute 1-2-1 consultation with me (via Skype) so I can guide you on how best to make use of the resources in the Studio
We run a number of group challenges to help you with blogging and social media and keep you accountable. We’ll also link you up with like-minded members and potential accountability partners
As long as you’re a paid-up member of the community.
The course materials are shared as video content, worksheets, cheat sheets and checklists. You’ll get your own login and password for our members’ area so you can access the course materials at any time. We do ask that your login is not shared, as membership is per individual rather than per company.
You’ll get instant access to the recording of my Soulful PR Session with Andrea Thompson at Marie Claire magazine so you can find out what kind of stories they’re looking for in 2017. You’ll get instant access to our private Facebook group
We’ll also email you with exclusive access to Soulful Stories – my new digital course on how to craft your unique business story and use it promote your business on social media and in the press.
£378+VAT (£453.60 / US$632) per annum, or £42+VAT (£50.40 / US $70) per month
You’ll get out what you put in. If you invest a couple of hours a week, you should start to make progress quickly. If you only dip in to the materials and community now and again your progress will be slower.
We would never want you to be unhappy. If you sign up as a monthly member, you can stop your membership at any time. If you opt for the annual fee and contact us within 30 days, we will issue a refund if you are genuinely unhappy with the service we offer and providing you have completed at least one of the core modules of the course and can evidence the coursework completed. The 30 days should not be seen as a trial period as the annual membership is for those with a genuine commitment to optimising the resources and learning withing the Studio. Please note that deductions may be made if you have signed up and received any free joining incentives (such as a 1-2-1 consultation, book, media diary, Soulful PR mug etc). If you choose to stop your membership you will no longer have access to any of the Studio resources.
The free 1-2-1 consultation is an offer made to members selecting annual membership only. Should you take out an annual membership and then decide to cancel within 30 days, you will be refunded your membership fee (subject to the terms in the point above) minus £150+VAT if you have had the 30 minute consultation.
“Since becoming part of Janet’s community my camera bags have been featured in Stylist magazine, the Guardian’s Christmas Gift Guide (which led to a big spike in sales) and Polyvore.com and are potentially going to be featured in Qatar Airlines inflight magazine and Jazeera Airlines magazine.”
“When I joined the Soulful PR Studio I was keen to increase my visibility so I could attract more of my ideal clients. Over the past few months, I’ve started blogging regularly, had an article published in the Guardian and created a 10-day email challenge . This meant mastering news skills: designing a landing page, creating a sales page, designing images using free design tools like Canva and getting to grips with Mailchimp (all with the help of some of the resources in the Studio library). Around 5% of those who’ve gone through the challenge so far have now become clients, which is a great conversion rate. Janet offers all annual members a free 1-2-1 coaching session. Having support with setting priorities and how to use the resources in the studio was invaluable.”
“Since joining the Soulful PR Studio, I’ve been featured in New, Glamour magazine, the Daily Mail, the Sun, Women’s Running magazine and made tons of great contacts with journalists. I’ve also had TV appearances on Good Morning Britain and ITV’s This Morning, and been involved in various debates on many BBC radio stations…”
“Since I started working with Janet, I’ve been featured in Psychologies, Cosmopolitan, the Huffington Post, Daily Mail, Marie Claire, Daily Express, Channel 4 and ITV’s This Morning. I sometimes used to hold back from pitching national journalists because I was worried my pitch wasn’t quite right. Now I’ve nailed my pitching strategy, I’m getting brilliant results…”
“A key focus for me has been growing awareness and attendance at my bread-making classes. Since I joined the Soulful PR Studio I’ve had several articles published in local foodie lifestyle magazines, had my business story published on two high-profile business networking blogs and won the Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday competition on Twitter. I’ve also been blogging regularly – taking part in Janet’s #90day blog challenge has made me up my game – and grown my email list by almost 40%. As a result, my student numbers are up 70% over the last year and I’ve had to put on additional classes. One of the biggest benefits for me has been accountability. We’re invited to share our goals at the beginning and our wins at the end of each week, which really helps to focus the mind. In addition, learning from the excellent Studio resources have helped me plan my business development over the coming months and years.”
“Since I joined the Soulful PR Studio in January, I’ve been blogging regularly on my website, grown my social media followers and my email list.. I’ve been featured in the local press and recently had my first article published in the Independent. Not only has this helped me build credibility, it’s sending new clients my way every week…”
