I’ve spent the last 17 years writing and editing for national publications like the Guardian – which means I know a thing or two about what makes a great media story.
I’ve helped hundreds of clients get featured in places like the Guardian, Daily Telegraph, Huffington Post, Psychologies, Daily Mail, Marie Claire and Grazia magazines – and on national radio and TV (including ITV’s Loose Women & BBC Radio 4’s Today programme).

The course materials are shared as video content, worksheets, cheat sheets and checklists. We do ask that your login is not shared, as enrolment is per individual rather than per company.
You’ll also get two live coaching calls which will be delivered via the video conferencing software Zoom. Dates will be published on the first day of the course (Monday 5 March 2018) and recordings will be available if you can’t attend live. “Since doing the Soulful PR for Starters course, I’ve been featured in The Guardian, The Independent, The Metro, mashable.com, lots of local media, various radio stations, live national TV (BBC and Channel 5), BBC News and a double page spread in The Sun! I can’t believe how much I’ve achieved in a few months.”
“I’m so pleased with the “wins” I’ve seen since taking part in Soulful PR for Starters. The “as featured in” section of my website now includes Reader’s Digest, Sainsbury’s Magazine, Insider, Bustle, West Essex Life, Top Sante, Psychologies and Soul & Spirit. Nine features and expert quotes in just a couple of months! It makes me so proud and I feel it gives me real credibility when prospective clients check me out online.”
“Since I started working with Janet, I’ve been featured in Psychologies, Cosmopolitan, the Huffington Post, Daily Mail, Marie Claire, Daily Express, Channel 4 and ITV’s This Morning. I sometimes used to hold back from pitching national journalists because I was worried my pitch wasn’t quite right. Now I’ve nailed my pitching strategy, I’m getting brilliant results…”
“I’ve had a few pieces appear on BBC News Online plus in The Metro and the Huffington Post, and they bring the added bonus of being able to link, which means they get carried further to other sites – one of my quotes ended up on Victoria Beckham’s fan club page! I’ve also featured in the Daily Mail which led to being contacted by a couple of TV producers.”
